This is my final year working for the Company Full time and I will be taking on a Part-Time role as from January 2022.

Jenna Kassam jenna@eccruk.com the Director of Ethical Care Training has been working jointly with myself to accredit Ethical Care with Bild ACT (British Institute of Learning Disabilities Association of Certified Training)  certified as meeting the RRN (Restraint Reduction Network Standards). We applied in February 2021 and envisage accreditation by September 2021.

This has altered some of our training materials both theory and practical on all our courses, however we have already incorporated these changes as we deliver to our customers. All NHS organisations and CQC regulated services must have in place certified training in restrictive practices from April of this year or be able to demonstrate that they are in the process of being certified or affiliated to an existing certified provider.

(The CQC may allow some flexibility if there are no issues with your restrictive practice training and you would be in the process of affiliation through a provider seeking Certification and who is in that process)

We are still delivering our PMVA Level 1 and Level 2 Courses for in house instructors and trainers as and when required but we will be holding our first RRN acclimatisation Ethical Care Trainers update on the 19th July to the 23rd July 2021 at Luton. This course will include all updated Learning materials, trainers PowerPoints and manuals.  We only have space for 14 trainers on this course and 8 confirmations have already been made if you wish to book on this course please contact Tom on tom@eccruk.com
